Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our translation, interpreting, and legalisation services.

Translation refers to writing text from one language to another, allowing for research and review. Interpretation is the real-time spoken translation of speeches or conversations, requiring immediate cognitive translation and high cultural sensitivity.

Yes, our certified translations are fully accepted by UK government offices (Home Office, HMRC), courts of law, academic registries, and embassies. We also provide document apostille legalisation services.

Our translators and interpreters are thoroughly vetted native speakers with relevant subject-matter qualifications and professional experience. We ensure each linguist matched with your job has the required qualifications and experience to undertake the request.

We offer three modes of interpreting: in-person consecutive interpreting at appointments, hearings, and consultations; video interpreting via platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet; and telephone interpreting for immediate remote needs.

We cover a wide range of languages including Portuguese, Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Polish, Romanian, Hindi, Urdu, Panjabi, Bengali, Farsi, Turkish, Russian, and Japanese — among many others. Contact us to confirm availability for less common language pairs.

Simply use our online quote form to describe your document and requirements. Once you submit your request, our coordination team will review your criteria and respond with a tailored quote, typically within one business day.

Turnaround times depend on document length, language pair, and subject complexity. Standard translations are typically delivered within 2–5 working days. Rush and same-day delivery options are available — please indicate your deadline when requesting a quote.

An apostille is an official government certification that authenticates a document for use in another country that is a signatory to the Hague Convention. We offer a complete apostille legalisation service, handling both the translation and the official certification process on your behalf.

Absolutely. We treat all documents and personal data as strictly confidential. Files are stored securely and shared only with authorised linguists or staff involved in your project. We are fully compliant with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please see our Data & Privacy Notice for full details.

Pricing is based on a combination of factors including word count or project size, language pair, subject matter complexity, formatting requirements, urgency or turnaround time, and for interpreting: duration and location. All quotes are free and non-binding.

For translation projects cancelled before work begins, no fee is charged. If work has already started, you will be charged for the portion completed. For interpreting services, cancellations more than three business days before the booking incur no charge; cancellations within three business days may incur up to 100% of the fee.
