Modern Slavery Statement
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps taken by 4th Dimension Limited during the financial year ending 31st March 2025 to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business or supply chains.
Introduction
4th Dimension is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in all aspects of our business and opposes modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms. We do not tolerate any form of exploitation, forced labour, or human trafficking within our operations, workforce, or supply chains.
As a responsible business, we are dedicated to promoting transparency, integrity, and respect for human rights. We expect the same standards from our employees, contractors, and suppliers.
Our Business and Structure
4th Dimension is a leading UK-based specialist in claims management, vehicle repair and maintenance services, partnering with major insurance providers and Brokers to deliver high-quality, efficient claims handling. Our services include:
- Claims management and legal assistance
- Vehicle recovery service and accident repairs
- Mechanical servicing and credit hire
- Logistics for vehicle delivery
We operate multiple workshops across the UK, employing approximately 500 people, serving customers through direct operations.
Our Supply Chains
Our supply chains involve third-party providers of automotive parts, tools, IT services, logistics, and subcontracted labour for specialist repairs. These suppliers are primarily UK-based but may include international sourcing for components.
We recognise that risks of modern slavery can arise in complex supply chains, particularly in sectors involving manual labour or global sourcing. To address this, we conduct regular assessments and require all suppliers to adhere to our ethical standards.
Policies Relating to Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking
Code of Conduct
This sets out our core values and minimum standards of ethical behaviour for all employees and representatives. It explicitly prohibits modern slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking, and requires reporting of any suspected violations. All new employees receive training on the Code during induction.
Supplier Code of Conduct
Mandatory for all suppliers, this requires compliance with UK and international laws on labour rights, including the elimination of forced and compulsory labour and child labour. Suppliers must:
- Confirm adherence annually
- Permit audits upon request
Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy
Supports our ethical framework by addressing related risks that could enable exploitative practices. These policies are available on our internal portal and are integrated into procurement processes.
Due Diligence and Risk Assessment
We embed due diligence into our operations to identify and mitigate modern slavery risks.
Supplier Onboarding and Monitoring
All new suppliers undergo a risk assessment, including:
- Questionnaires on labour practices
- Site visits for high-risk categories
Existing suppliers are re-assessed annually or upon contract renewal.
Modern Slavery Training
All employees, particularly those in procurement and management, receive mandatory annual training on recognising and reporting modern slavery indicators. 100% of staff complete this training.
Key Performance Indicators
Monitoring of concerns reported through 4th Dimension has demonstrated that during 2024, no suspected or confirmed instances of modern slavery were identified within our business or supply chain.
